Guiding you through the Sacred Valley

Founders and directors of Bhakti Yoga School & Ashram in Peru and Yogendra Ashram in Cali, Colombia.

Shyam has walked the path of yoga and spirituality since 2001, with more than 20 years of experience guiding retreats, trainings and transformative journeys in Peru, Latin America and Asia.

Chaitanya, born in Peru, is a teacher and spiritual guide with more than 35 years of experience, known for the depth and authenticity with which he shares Vedic philosophy, Bhakti Yoga and the wisdom of India.

Together they accompany this journey, sharing decades of experience, practice and connection with these traditions and sacred places.

Monday
March 22

Arrival at the Sacred Valley ashram

  • Arrive at any time during the day.
  • 3:30 pm · Welcome, orientation and herbal tea/snacks.
  • Restorative yoga and Tibetan bowl healing.
  • Intention circle.
  • Dinner and rest.
Day 2
Tuesday
March 23

Ollantaytambo & Aguas Calientes

  • Early departure with packed breakfast to Ollantaytambo.
  • Tourist train toward Machu Picchu and arrival in Aguas Calientes.
  • Lunch on your own (~15 USD).
  • Optional thermal baths (~20 USD).
  • Vegetarian dinner, hotel and rest.

Wednesday

Machu Picchu

  • 7:30 am · Departure to the archaeological site.
  • Guided Machu Picchu tour (approximately 4 hours).
  • Group lunch.
  • Train return to the ashram.
  • Dinner and rest.

March 25

Sacsayhuamán, culture & Andean flavors

  • 7:00 am · Ashram program: meditation, yoga, kirtan and philosophy.
  • 9:30 am · Departure to Sacsayhuamán.
  • Picnic-style lunch in the natural area of the Temple of the Sun.
  • Traditional coca-leaf offering, connecting with gratitude and Andean tradition.
  • Medicinal Plants Museum: ancestral Andean wisdom with a tasting of local corn and muña or cacao.
  • Cusco walk: Cristo Blanco, San Blas and Plaza de Armas.
  • Optional dinner at Green Point (~15 USD).
  • Night at the ashram.

Quinsacocha Lagoon & Pisac

  • 7:00 am · Ashram program: meditation, yoga, kirtan and philosophy.
  • 9:30 am · Departure to Quinsacocha Lagoon.
  • Five-elements ceremony connecting with earth, water, fire, air and ether.
  • Pisac: free time at the artisan market and tasting of freshly baked traditional empanadas.
  • Late lunch at the ashram.
  • 4:00 pm · Closing of the program and farewells.
